​Tyler Shea founded "Local Kid" Lawn Care in 2008.  He began cutting his neighbors lawns at the age of 13 working from his parents home in Islip Terrace.  While cutting lawns Tyler attened Farmingdale State College studying Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design to recieve his Associates Degree.  He now recieved his degree and is a fully knowleged Horticulturist. In the winter of 2014, Tyler changed his company name, "Local Kid" Lawn Care to Shea Landscaping Inc. Shea Landscaping is now fully licensed and insured for all of Suffolk County.
